Spider-Man 4 starting with Tom Holland is reportedly in development. After Spider-Man No Way Home the sequel of that movie has been confirmed to be in development but the movie might get delayed due to some reasons. Here is everything;
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man
The last Spider-Man movie starring Tom Holland as Peter Parker or Spider-Man was “Spider-Man: No Way Home”. The movie was sensational bringing back our old heroes Tobey Maguire & Andrew Garfield to reprise their roles as Spider-Man.
Unfortunately, the ending of the movie was a sad one for our friendly neighbourhood wall-crawling superhero. The movie ends with everyone forgetting who Spider-Man ever was after a spell from Dr Steven Strange played by Benedict Cumberbatch.
In the final scenes, however, we see Peter Parker have a new start in an apartment where he makes a new suit with the iconic red & blue colourway and swings in the city of Queens.

After the last movie, Holland’s contract with Marvel was over. Many fans speculated that Holland might not return to reprise the role. But silence has been finally broken and Tom Holland & Zendaya are locked in to reprise their roles as Peter Parker & MJ respectively in the upcoming Spider-Man 4.
Producer Amy Pascal has confirmed that Spider-Man 4 starring Tom Holland is indeed in development, but the project is currently on pause due to the writers’ strike.
Spider-Man 4 Could Be Delayed
While the movie will be made, it is getting delayed because of the writer’s strike.
The producer when asked about the upcoming Spider-Man movie said this;
“Are we going to make another movie? Of course, we are.” Nevertheless, as Pascal underlines, “We’re in the process, but the writers strike, nobody is working during the strike. We’re all supporters, and whenever they get themselves together, we’ll get started.”

The movie was in early development when the writers’ strike broke out. Sony and Marvel are reportedly waiting on the strike to end so they can continue working on the movie.
