This rumor gives an idea of how the upgraded console will look like. PS5 Pro will have an eight-core Zen 2 CPU running in the 4GHz range, 60 compute units RDNA 3 custom GPU running at 2500-2800MHz, and last but not least, 16GB GDDR6 memory. With such high specs, you can know that this upcoming console is a beast!
Reactions to the Rumored Specs
Reactions to the rumored specs are mixed as one Reddit user said “CPU upgrade might not even be worth talking about,” while others are happy with such specs because it will improve ray tracing and there will be a jump in GPU power.
@u/BurnItFromOrbit on Reddit said “It’s not going to be the 240% increase in performance from the PS4 to the PS4 Pro. It’s likely to be in the 10% to 40% range depending on the use case.” This upgrade will help many players play their games on 4K resolution consistently.
Until now, there’s nothing confirmed as talked earlier so we should wait for the release of the console or for any updates given by Sony.
