As we all know GTA 6 will be hitting the shelves sometime next year. Being the ultimate game of the decade, we do not want any kind of compromise on the graphics. However, the game won’t be launching on PC at launch. So we are left with current-gen PS5 and Xbox consoles.
The good news is that Sony will be launching PS5 Pro. This will be an upgrade to the current PS5 and will include better hardware. However, with better hardware, one may think the price would be increased, but a new leak suggests otherwise.
According to Moore’s Law is Dead YouTube channel, the PS5 Pro will be priced at $500. This is quite impressive since the PS5 Slim model sells for the same price. Hence, before the PS5 Pro arrives, there can be a price reduction for the PS5 Slim, making it even cheaper at $400-450.
What it means for GTA 6 fans is that, if you do not have a console already, you can get the PS5 Slim for a cheaper price. And those who want to play it with the highest graphics possible can opt for the Pro version, which is also not costing you a leg.
PS5 Pro: What’s New?
Talking about the upgrades, the PS5 Pro is expected to have a 56CU(60CUs total) RDNA 3 GPU, 18Gbps of 16GB GDDR6 memory, and the same Zen 2 CPU as the base PS5. It will have better ray tracing and machine learning features.
That said, this is all speculation for now, and hence should be taken with a pinch of salt. It could be more or less because some previous reports suggested a higher price tag.

Gpu upgrade is good but having an old gen cpu just clocked slightly more is a massive mistake
