Xbox spent a lot of money to buy Actvision. But the early version of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III will be available on PlayStation consoles first. This is good news if you like PlayStation, but not so good if you prefer Xbox. The official announcement for Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III came out last week, and people had mixed reactions. Some were happy about a new Call Of Duty game coming. While others were unsure if it’s worth the full game price. Especially since some of its content was initially meant to be extra content for Modern Warfare II (2022).
The Dilemma
There’s a growing debate about how long the Call Of Duty game series will be available on different gaming systems. Xbox paid a huge $68.7 billion to acquire Activision Blizzard. While some countries are resisting the deal, it will likely go through eventually. Xbox could potentially decide to only have Call Of Duty on Xbox and not other systems. Even though they’ve said they don’t plan to do this. Some people think it might not be a good choice for the future. This is especially true after recent leaks suggested that the early access beta for Modern Warfare III will be on PlayStation before Xbox.
Leaks
This news was shared on Twitter by CharlieINTEL. They showed an advertisement for the game on the Arabic Sony YouTube channel. The translated message of the ad is: “Try the demo first on PlayStation, available on PlayStation at least five days before any other platform.”
The ad also mentioned that only people who had ordered the game beforehand could try out the beta version. They didn’t mention a specific date for the beta, but it will probably happen in the upcoming weeks or months. This might not be great news for Xbox players, especially if they spent a lot of money on the game’s company. However, when everything is settled, there might be some special things only for Xbox players.
Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare III will come out on November 10 this year for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC.
