Sony Interactive Entertainment released the PS5 on November 12, 2020. Now everyone is looking forward to the PlayStation 5 Pro. PS5 Pro specs have been leaked recently and the upgrades are quite noticeable.
According to the leaks, the PS5 Pro will be expensive and will be released in 2024. As the PlayStation 5 Slim is going to be released soon, there’s no doubt that the Pro version is also not far from being released.
PlayStation 5 Pro Specs Leaked:
According to a report from @RedGamingTech, the PlayStation 5 Pro will have considerable upgrades compared to the standard PS5. Obviously, this is not shocking, but there will be some important differences between the two consoles.
Rumors suggest that the PS5 Pro’s CPU and GPU will be significantly higher than the standard PS5. Let’s talk about the frequencies of the CPU and GPU: the leak suggests frequencies “well over 3.6 GHz” for the CPU and 2.7 GHz for the GPU. Moreover, let’s compare it with the standard PlayStation 5: the standard PS5 packs a variable CPU boost frequency of 3.5 GHz and a 2.23 GHz GPU.
Huge upgrade in PS5 Pro:
The biggest upgrade is that in the PS5 PRO, there will be more stable 60 FPS in 4k resolutions. It will make players more comfortable as there will be no more choosing between framerate and performance modes. Moreover, there might be an 8k resolution option and also enhanced graphical features.
Until now, all this information has not been officially confirmed by Sony. We will have to take all these leaks with a pinch of salt. We don’t know yet how much of this information is going to be true after all. Although after seeing the PS4 Pro and Slim models, we wouldn’t be surprised if we are treated with a mid-gen hardware upgrade.
What are your thoughts on the upgrades in PlayStation 5 Pro?
