The GTA 6 trailer was released a couple of months ago and it broke many big records. Now fans are waiting for the second trailer which will be released this year. However, gamers might be thinking that their PS5 console will be enough to play GTA 6 on. But that’s not true.
The GTA 6 trailer gave us many hints like Lucia being on parole and children in the game. Moreover, we are expecting the same from the second trailer to give us more hints.
GTA 6 on PS5 Pro?
PS5 owners are being warned that GTA VI might be planned to be played on the upcoming PS5 Pro. Sony is expected to release the PS5 Pro in the second half of 2024. This due to boast an eight-core Zen 2 CPU which clocks in at 4GHz, an RDNA 3 GPU at 2.8 GHZ, as well as 16GB of 18,000 MT/s GDDR6 memory with a bandwidth of 587 GB/s. Obviously, there’s no doubt that this is a powerhouse of a console.
Now, after seeing the first trailer, you might have got an idea that we will need a powerhouse of a console to run GTA VI. According to Push Square, Sony will want to make PlayStation the destination where GTA 6 feels most at home.
Serkan Toto of consultancy firm Kantan Games said (via Push Square), “There seems to be a broad consensus in the game industry that Sony is indeed preparing a launch of a PS5 Pro in the second half of 2024, and Sony will want to make sure to have a great piece of hardware ready when GTA VI hits in 2025, a launch that will be a shot in the arm for the entire gaming industry.” Now it’s a question for all the gamers to answer: will they think of upgrading their PS5 to PS5 Pro for GTA VI?
