Recently, the GTA 5 source code was leaked, revealing many things. It was obviously a shock for Rockstar Games, as they have always been unable to secure their data. Moreover, this leak has shown us that Rockstar Games was working on eight DLCs for the single-player mode, they were cancelled for some reason. Fans are upset about the information that Rockstar planned to release them but they never came out. Fans have been asking Rockstar Games for a single-player campaign for a long time now, but they have always been ignored.
GTA 5 Source Code Leak
The recent leak has released many sensitive files from Rockstar Games, which they will be upset about. However, the gaming community is using them to uncover more information about the game. Following are the eight DLCs which were cancelled or reworked for GTA Online:

2. Agent Trevor
3. Assassination
4. Liberty City
5. Relationship
6. Prologue
7. Enterprise
8. Norman

According to @GTAVInewz on Twitter, some of them were released for GTA Online such as:
- Agent Trevor — The Doomsday Heist
- Prologue — North Yankton Expansion
- LibertyV — Liberty City in GTA 5

According to sources, Rockstar Games was also planning on releasing one DLC for each protagonist and then another one for Liberty City. However, all these plans got cancelled for no reason.
Fans’ Reactions
Fans are heartbroken to see how many DLCs got cancelled. One fan said, “Heartbreaking to see,” while another said, “My question is why? Why not keep developing the DLCs? Did they just focus on the online market instead?” One more fan got emotional, saying, “Liberty City being cut hurts the most.”
Lastly, we should hope that no more GTA 6 leaks come out, especially the type that reveals the story. It would definitely ruin the enjoyment of many fans. However, we should take every unofficial piece of information about the game with a grain of salt. GTA 6 is set to release in 2025.
