A New Job Listing from Sucker Punch
Sucker Punch, the minds behind the Ghost of Tsushima, have recently posted a new job listing on their site, and it seems to be pointing straight towards more Ghost of Tsushima content.
The listing states that Sucker Punch is on the hunt for a candidate who can “deliver interesting and varied encounters in an open-world game, with a particular focus on melee combat and stealth.” This means thaey are working on an open-world stealth game with melee combat.
While the job listings leave room for speculation, all signs seem to point towards Ghost of Tsushima. Several positions specifically mention familiarity with the first game’s systems, strengthening our belief in an upcoming sequel.
Ghost of Tsushima 2 Teased in PS5 Ad
In a PS5 advertisement released back in February, Sony unveiled a lineup of upcoming exclusive games. Among them, a brief tease has sparked rumors of a potential Ghost of Tsushima sequel.
In the advert, a group of armored horsemen are seen riding away from a burning village. The armor is certainly representative of that seen in Ghost of Tsushima, we also got a glimpse of a character amongst a field of spider lilies later on in the video.
While there is a chance the video could have teased Ghost of Tsushima 2. It is also possible it is a reference to Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut which was released on PS5 in 2021. However, it is still very exciting to get a glimpse of the game in the advert.
