Around three years ago, PlayStation 5 was released. However, the work for next-gen games has already started, with the first PlayStation 6 game.
Currently, we know little to no details about PlayStation 6. Sony released the updated PlayStation 5 Slim in 2023, and this year we may get the PlayStation 5 Pro.
Talking about the PS6, the console is years ahead, however, its first game was “technically” announced last week.
For those unaware, the January’s State Of Play, we were welcomed with upcoming PS games of 2024 and beyond. The presentation revealed a brand new IP coming from the devs of Metal Gear Solid.
It is named Physint, and it marks the return of stealth action for Kojima. It is being marketed as “next-gen” action espionage, as the developer will only be using the high-end and latest technologies for developing this game.
Kojima is working on Death Stranding 2 and it will be released by 2025. Then, the dev will move on to a horror title named OD. This one is expected to come around the years 2026-27. This left the newly announced Physint to be released no earlier than 2028.
We already talked about a lot of rumors suggesting the PlayStation 6 release for 2028, and hence it makes Physint title a potential launch title for the console. The developer is already focusing on using only high-end technologies, and it makes perfect sense that it will be a PS6 title.
