As everyone knows, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed is one of the best series rated by gamers. There is no doubt in saying that Assassin’s Creed 2 is the best one in the series. However, everyone has their own likes and dislikes.
Moreover, in 2016, fans received Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection, which included Assassin’s Creed II remaster, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, and Assassin’s Creed Revelations, as well as all previously released DLC. Also, don’t forget the two short films, “Assassin’s Creed Lineage” and “Assassin’s Creed Embers”.
Assassin’s Creed 2 Remaster
The disappointing part about the Ezio Collection was that it did not meet fans’ expectations. Secondly, the NPC textures and poor framerates were the worst parts of it. However, finally, the remaster has been fixed and they are significantly better now. Obviously, if you have played it on PlayStation 5, you can see the difference quite easily. Interestingly, a fan has shown his skills and provided the best remaster you could have ever got. His talent has put the official Ubisoft remaster to shame.
“Betrayed by the ruling families of Italy, a young man embarks upon an epic quest for vengeance. To eradicate corruption and restore his family’s honor, he will study the secrets of an ancient Codex, written by Altaïr,” reads the synopsis of the game. Furthermore it states, “His allies, he will become a force for change – fighting for freedom and justice. To his enemies, he will become a dark knight – dedicated to the destruction of the tyrants abusing the people of Italy. His name is Ezio Auditore da Firenze. He is an Assassin.”
Is the Fan-made Remaster Better?
You can see the beautiful remaster of Assassin’s Creed 2 on YouTube. Lastly, according to the creator, a series of mods have been put together for the Assassin’s Creed II remaster, alongside the use of an RTX 3090 with a glorious 8k resolution. The textures, lights, and shade effects look awesome and can only be seen on a high-performance PC.
On the other hand, assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection can be played on PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation.”
